Shelby Slowey
Pastor
Pastor Shelby started at South End in July of 2022. A graduate of Vanderbilt Divinity School, she is passionate about equipping neighbors to cultivate communities of peace and justice. Ordained in 2018, she has been serving local churches for over 15 years. In addition to pastoring, she is also a trained spiritual director.

Irene Marshall
Administrator
Irene and her family have been members at South End for almost 50 years. A graduate of Millsaps College, she came to Nashville as a teacher for Nashville public schools. She and her husband Don have 2 children and 3 grandsons.

Rob Dodd
Preschool Director
Robert started working for the South End Preschool in 2005, becoming Director in 2014. He enjoys watching students grow and learn during the school year, not just in academics but also in social skills. Robert is especially proud of the work the preschool does to teach students to treat each other with kindness and respect.

Lex has been with South End since May 2023. She moved to Nashville 2 years ago from Southern California, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree from Azusa Pacific University. She is currently working towards her Masters in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville – Go Vols!
